Plot
School Rumble is a romantic shōnen comedy that revolves around the everyday lives of class 2-C students at the fictional Yagami High School, along with their friends and families. The main female protagonist is Tenma Tsukamoto, an unremarkable secondary school student who secretly admires Oji Karasuma, her quirky, mysterious, nice-guy classmate. Tenma is fighting to reveal her feelings.Instead of finding fulfillment by indulging in curry he remains indifferent to her concern. The leading male protagonist, delinquent Kenji Harima, likewise yearns for Tenma, attending school just to be close to her. Like Tenma, Harima finds it hard to announce his love and every time he gathers the courage to do so, circumstances conspire against him.
